Barz Casino follows a really simple, clean design. The Barz of the title refers to the ‘Bar’ symbol on a slot game and there is a nifty one-armed bandit motif in the logo. The color scheme is a pleasing blend of purples, whites and blues. Text and game logos stand out nicely, and if you are a fan of the style of White Hat sites Casimba and Casilando, you’ll like this one too.

I spent some time browsing round Barz and found it very easy to navigate. It’s one of the most simple and modern casino designs we have reviewed and scores well for that reason.

Registration and First Deposit

Sign up at Barz takes under 2 minutes so you can be playing in no time. You’ll need to enter all the usual details including full name, address, email address, date of birth, mobile number and your chosen username and password. Make sure enter this information correctly or you will need to send in documents to verify your ID before you have even made a deposit.

There is no email verification required before you start playing but you will need to click a link to say you understand the Responsible Gambling policy and how to use the Responsible Gambling tools. Once done, you are good to go.

When making your first deposit you must opt-in to the sign-up deal if you wish to get the match bonus and 50 Starburst spins. If you don’t want the hassle of wagering and cash-out restrictions then you can choose to ‘deposit without bonus’.

The account area at Barz is straight forward and easy to navigate. This one of the newer White Hat sites so it benefits from a better build than older ones like Dream Vegas, which suffers from some broken links and odd navigation choices. As well as deposit and cashout there are quick links to redeem your loyalty points, view transaction history and administer responsible gambling settings.

The main account page also shows any current bonus funds balance and remaining wagering requirements with a progress bar for a quick visual representation so it’s very easy to understand what you need to do to unlock your winnings.

In short, the Barz Casino website impressed us and we found everything we were looking for with ease.

Catalogue and Game Providers

The White Hat Gaming platform supports a large catalogue of slots. In this instance there are 106 game suppliers in the list, including both big names and small boutique studios. Names like Big Time Gaming, NetEnt, IGT, Blueprint Gaming, Light and Wonder and Play n Go sit alongside Merkur, Iron Dog, Thunderkick and Shuffle Master.

In total there are 2,124 slots according to the Barz website. That is a huge number to get your head around. The only providers of note we couldn’t see here are Yggdrasil and Quickspin.  There are only a few sites out there with a bigger choice of games but if you need more you could try Play OJO which has more than 4,500 to spin.

Jackpot Slots

It is not immediately clear how many jackpot slots are on offer at Barz as there is no ‘Jackpot’ section in the game menu. However, you can search them out using the search bar. This brings up Jackpot King games from Blueprint Gaming, Mega Moolahs from Microgaming and Dream Drop games from Relax Gaming amongst others.

This is reasonable selection covering all the main networks, though there are no Mega Fortunes from NetEnt. We estimate there to be at least 75 jackpot games to try. If you are looking for wider choice Casumo could be a good option with 267 progressives including their own exclusives.

New Slots

There were 57 slots listed under the ‘new’ tab at Barz when we researched this review. This included games released in the previous 7 days, like Pragmatic Play’s Fat Panda (June 15^th 2023) and Big Bass Amazon Extreme, also from Pragmatic Play (June 19^th 2023).

So if you like playing the latest releases then Barz is a good option for you with fresh content added on a daily basis.

Megaways Slots

There is no Megaways section in the game menu at Barz. However, using the search bar we found more than 80 of this format of games. The list included classics like Monopoly Megaways as well as newer ones like Mystery Spin Deluxe Megaways and Legacy of Ra Megaways.

Game Menu, Search Functions and Game Window

With over 2,000 slots to explore, the Barz site could benefit from a more sophisticated search menu. There are just a few categories – Popular, New and Drops and Wins. There is no option to search by Megaways, Slingos, Cluster Pays, Jackpots, or any other theme or style of slot. However, you can use the search bar to find a game you know by name, or search the full list of game providers.

There is also a clever, ‘Play a Random Game’ function which is fun. Click this button on the home page and the site will flick through a selection of games before choosing one at random for you to try. It’s something different and worth a go if you are stuck for which game to turn to.

The games load up in a nice window with the Barz branding and a Quick Deposit option that allows you to add funds without breaking stride on your spins. There is also a full screen option but no way to search out new games without returning to the main site.

Barz run a standard loyalty program like you find at many other White Hat sites. Wagering earns you points, referred to here as ‘Barz’. Every £10 you wager gets you 2 Barz. Once you have 1,000 Barz you can exchange for £5 bonus funds. This means that you will need to wager £10,000 to get £5 bonuses.

You will also get 500 Barz just for signing up, effectively adding £2.50 in bonus funds to your welcome bonus.

This is a relatively simple loyalty program with no level-ups. If you want a more sophisticated program with progress bars, rewards at each new level and special bonus spins deals, try Play OJO or Casumo, both of which scored high for their loyalty programs in our reviews.
